Evolution

In the video, the womans head is risen up higher to make it look like she has a long neck, they made her eyes bigger, they made her shoulders curve in more and gave her bigger cheek bones, and they also change up her lips and made her whole face shinier.

I think it is ethically okay to change someones face like this because it makes the world a more beautiful place and it also helps the company or whatever sell their product. Taco Bell uses Godzilla to sell their food and he's fake, so why cant other companies make something fake to help them sell their product?

I think it would be wrong to make someone look really gorgeous and say that the product will make them look like that when it wont. I think all the changes on this girl are okay because who cares if thats not what she looks like?

This photo shows a lot of emotion and action and thats what makes it the most interesting to me. There is framing and leading lines in this photo and C.V.I.

This soldier is holding up his arms and it looks like the civilians in the background are mocking him or something. This picture also shows a lot of emotion in it and thats why it makes it good. The soldier with the gun is the C.V.I.

She has been a photographer from a little before 1986 (when she won her first award) to this day. Photography to her just became an interest at first and then took a huge part in her life.
Quote- "people's most intimate moments -- their joys and sorrows, their triumphs and tragedies." is the hardest challenge for photographers.

Jazz Band (Worst)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Nothing in this picture is in focus and the depth of field is long which makes the picture even more boring and looks like there isn't too much going on. The frame isn't filled but there is emotion and it is condid because the band instructor is teaching the class. This picture is too blurry and there isn't any advanced techniques here. I will try to do everything better in this picture.

i like this photo because its pretty and it is a black and white picture.

Light in Photography

--The quantity of light entering the camera affects the object you are shooting. Less light gets in the faster the shutter speed is and more light makes a better depth of field. Contrast makes whatever your shooting look more 3D and gives it more depth.

--Soft difused light is light that speads out and it comes from an indirect source. The effect of this makes soft shadows and makes more details.

--Hard direct light is concentrated light directly from the source and this light comes from spot lights, flashlights, etc. The effect of this is hard shadows and creates depth.

--Front light is good for getting details and it is bad for background detail. Side light is good for adding depth and 3D effects but it is bad for capturing details.

--Back light is good for creating a siloutte and showing you the background but the bad part about back light is seeing the details and there might be hard shadows.

Jazz Band (Best)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I took this photo while the jazz band was practicing playing their instruments. This is a picture of a guy playing the bass guitar.. The background is all blurry and the guitar and fingers are clear. It makes the guitar and fingers become the point of interest in this picture. This picture has leading lines in it which are the guitar strings.

I shot this photo in my journalism class with a camera. Then the next day I developed the picture by putting the negatives into a machine that imprints it onto a piece of special paper. The image didn't show up though until i put it into the developer. Then after the developer i put it into two other liquids and then rinsed it in water. Then i dried it and then scanned it and put it on here. I think this is a good photo because i captured a lot of action in it. I could have done better with the developing process though.

The shutter speed was too slow and if their hand moved then the camera would move which would make the shot blurry.
